Facebook (now Meta) is one of the internet giants today, giving people a way to connect through social media platforms and devices such as the Oculus headset and now the Facebook Portal series.

The Facebook Portal is a brand of smart videophone displays, the product line consists of four models (Portal, Portal+, Portal TV, and Portal Go) that provide video chatting capabilities via Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, augmented by a camera that can automatically zoom and track people’s movements.

With a national rollout of over 800+ displays, Outform Group used its creative, engineering, manufacturing, and software development capabilities to create a dynamic display that provides impactful consumer engagement. Its task was to design an endcap and inline display, replacing the previous Facebook display with a new product assortment. The display allowed the stores to update in the field for program refreshes easily.

In addition, Outform Group was heavily involved in the software development portion of the display to calculate foot traffic and shoppers’ interactions with the show.
